I'm a qualified copywriter and editor living and working on the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations, and a Masters graduate in Writing and Publishing from RMIT University, Melbourne/Naarm. My pronouns are they/she.

I've been creating content for blogs since 2013. I've written freelance fiction for customers, created social media blog posts, EDMs, and SEO optimised copywriting for agency clients. You can find more information about my professional work in my resume, available on request.

I've worked with the student-led press at RMIT University, Melbourne, to curate, edit, and publish a full-length anthology, along with co-editing their other prose and poetry projects - through the struggles and strains of the COVID-19 pandemic. I've also led the writing department at the English Literary Association at VIT University (Vellore, India) as the club's Public Relations Officer - through the struggles and strains of red tape. I also have a strong background in university-level debating, as an adjudicator.

I've worked as a volunteer at the Melbourne Writers Festival for 2022 and 2023 - and counting!

I'm also a volunteer at the Coburg Historical Society, in particular as an editor for our Bulletin and bi-monthly newsletter Search, as well as archival work.

I've written for a range of different clients and consider myself adaptable to their needs, but my passions lie in community-based work and writing for multicultural organisations - and writing that is simply a lot of fun. I believe in the importance of creating and fostering culturally diverse and safe working environments where creative talent can truly flourish - including mine!

I enjoy reading as much as writing - it's what got me my start. My bookshelf mostly comprises queer-friendly fiction, everything Jane Austen ever wrote, travel diaries, and history; particularly local, ethnic, and Indigenous history. I'm a staunch advocate for decolonising one's mind through reading perspectives you don't normally hear in the mainstream.

I like trains, and I wish more cities had them.
